I'm one of the reporters here at the TES.
    I'm doing a piece
about the recommendation within the Henley Review that teachers should
be helped to build links with outside organisations to keep their
knowledge up to date and that many teachers are themselves highly
talented in their field and there should be a moment in each school year
when this is celebrated through a performance of exhibition.
Is this something you do already - do staff put on / take part in performances for pupils and parents?
Do you think it's a good idea?
Any comments you'd like included in the piece can be posted here or emailed to me at helen.ward@tes.co.uk
    thanks
    Helen

  4. I'm writing an article on the Henley Review. It recommended that teachers should be helped to build links with outside organisations to keep their knowledge up to date. It also suggested that many teachers are themselves highly talented in their field and that there should be a moment in each school year when this is celebrated through a performance or exhibition. Do you have any experience of such events or opinions on these recommendations?
