Is this allowed?

  1. Earlier this week I was sent to an extremely challenging school - I did not know this before I said to the agency I would go. Having researched it, it turns out that the school were put into special measures last year. As a NQT, I know new teachers are not allowed to be employed in schools that have gone into special measures. Is this the case with supply or can you really be sent anywhere?
     
  2. Is is allowed of course, Unless the school have negotiated it as an NQT induction term.
    However the agency should have said the school was in special measures. And given you a call on this issue.
    Or maybe the agency did not know they were in special measures.
