Is there such a thing as a specialist MFL college?

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by kedikedi, Sep 14, 2011.

  1. Hello again everyone,

I am reading lots of your messages with interest as I carry on thinking about teacher training in MFL next academic year.

I am casting around for local schools at which to do some observations, and am noticing specialist this-that-and-the-other colleges, but have yet to find a specialist MFL one. Does such a thing exist? I was rather hoping google would provide me with a list of them, but it has failed in this mission!

PS If anyone is in Oxfordshire, south Warks, south Northants or north Bucks and would be happy to have me for a day, I would be very grateful and might even bring biscuits!
  2. BTW, Google lists lots of them if you search for
    specialist language colleges

  4. Thank you both. I've found two within an hour's drive of me, so will approach them for some observations!
