Is there any good news in teaching?

    Oh, haven't noticed that. T'would be a shame as D&T is a particularly good outlet for the non-academic but practical child, giving them a chance to shine. Apart from giving them some real life practical skills!

    Yes. My ex-HT, who bullied me (and others) and who forced me (and others) out has just received an 'inadequate' grading for Leadership and Management. Made my day. [​IMG]

    Mr Gove is mortal. That's the only good news I can think of related to education.

    a lot of the kids are still good news (hope this doesn't sound pious or whatever) -when i have a bad few days/weeks it's usually because of management ****, but if i ignore it and get my head down and just teach, teaching is still pretty great.
