Wasn't the Code of Conduct for teachers something created by the GTC and didn't it cease to exist when the GTC did?

  4. That conduct was for teachers but is there one for TA's?

it is good practice for schools to adopt their own - there isn't one imposed on us

we have a code of conduct policy and it includes things like:

setting a good example for students.
displaying good working relationships with colleagues.
    dressing appropriately.
    promoting the school's ethos.
speaking with good and correct grammar.
ensuring pupils feel safe and included by following correct procedures with regard to behaviour, bullying, prejudices etc.

it is for all staff regardless of status.

    hope that helps. :)

  7. Thanks for the responses peeps x
