Is the no joy for comrade Corbyn's plans

Thought you Tory haters might be shouting joy at the thought of Corbyn's declaration of more union control and worker participation in firms.
Or the desire to re_nationalise several areas of the nation.

Sketchy on detail other than a new department to oversee it. It wasn't clear under what circumstances people would be able to negotiate their own salary.

Comrade Corbyn is sometimes capable of uttering a sentence that isn't a lie.

    Johnson isn't

It's pretty desperate stuff when the only hope the Tory party has to recover from its bumbling incompetence is by attacking the opposition, ain't it?

Surely even you can see, @oldsomeman, that this disgraced Tory party, falling apart at the seams and found to be acting illegally, is totally unfit to govern. It is more unfit than a bagful of unfit things. It ought to be tried for treason.

How anyone could ever imagine we could do worse is completely beyond me.

  5. Perfectly fine by me. Oh wait no Tory wannabes capitalising from my tax money.... no selling off of ‘family silver’ ie council houses, BG etc for Tories to make yet more dosh.....
Union control eh?? Er didn’t we get told a load of bullocks about the Unions “running the country” ...oh wonder where the NASUWT etc were then, then. Let’s see...just when was this country ‘ruled by ‘ the unions? Unless I have been asleep for the past 40 years this country has been run as it always has ben....for the haves and paid for by the have nots.

Can you cite some examples of Corbyn's lies?

I'm with you Olds - profit before people. Stuff Corbyn and his Socialist Labour government. I want more lies, thieving, cruelty, austerity and outright dishonesty. More corruption too. So like you Oldsomeman I shall be supporting Boris and the Tories all the way over the cliff.
Sell off Education. Stuff the NHS. Profit before people every time. Stuff democracy.

I asked for an example or two of lies coming from Corbyn.

[This comment/section/image has been removed for breaching our Community Guidelines/Terms and conditions] is suddenly confronted with a Tory Cabinet which has sacked every decent One Nation Tory from the parliamentary Party, and is waltzing off towards the future arm-in-arm with Trump. The dead bodies of mainstream conservatives mark the way this force is heading. Meanwhile poor olds doesn't know what to do or where to go - help the casualties or fall in behind the Pied Piper? It's unsurprising that he finds comfort, succour, a refuge in the familiar. Labour-bashing and Corbyn-bashing. Now there's landscape he can recognise, and so he clings gratefully to it. Look around you, olds. Do you even recognise where you are? Where your party is? Who these people are marching you off into the Brave New Trumpian World?

You really do love pontificating your own personal view of myself. The usual carp comments as you know so little of myself or my views. Because I dare to be different to a lot of your opinions you assume some form of intellectual snobbery attack will be sufficient to deal with my views.
One cannot voice an opinion or comment on here because you think you can deride and bully some one into your way of viewing a action, word or political view. Or you ridicule and assume that will somehow deal with the problem.
Fortunately, I am still happy to have a fully functioning mind even if the body suffers.
These Forums decend into enough bigotry at times without individual's lives or views being called into question .

@oldsomeman i don't think it's reasonable to say that people know little about your views. You have made them pretty clear.

This is the second such thread you've started recently and given the language within it it's unsurprising if people react strongly.

I apologise for making it about you, olds. I was using you as an example of a "decent Tory" who surely is finding it difficult to compute what is happening to your Party right now. I notice you didn't address the issue - the hijack of your Party by Trumpian extremists. Would you care to comment on that?

And you, LC? Are you happy to have your party taken over the way it has been?

You mean a socialist actually leading a SOCIALIST. Party?? Wow...well I’ll go to the foot of our stairs. Incidentally when did it become the prerogative of a right winger to dictate who others should have as a leader of a party ? You stick with your blond bombshell (that should read ‘car crash blond)

Errr no, I don't mean any such thing. I'm discussing the takeover of the Tory Party by a Trumpian cabal led by Boris Johnson. As far as I'm concerned Corbyn being leader of the Labour Party is the best thing that's happened to Labour since Clement Attlee, and marks a return to decent democratic socialist ideals in a democratic socialist party. By contrast, Johnson's takeover of the Tory Party is the first time Ayn Rand followers have gained control of a major UK political party.

Slightly off topic, I know, but let me share yet more Tory lunacy and nastiness which the Tory press completely ignored, yet make rabid, distorted accusations about Jeremy Corbyn and his anti Semitism, links with the IRA and other rubbish propaganda.
I will state again that I fail to understand how any THINKING person, let alone a school teacher who works/worked for a living can be a Tory supporter,
