Is Fischer family trust the same thing as wave 3?

Fischer Family Trust is now an online package which contains data on all the children in your school. It can be used to predict expected levels of attainment at the end of Key Stages 1 and 2 as well as standing as a record of children's past attainments in statutory testing. It can, then, also be used to identify children who may benefit from intervention work including Wave 3.

    Hope that helps.

lol yes its the overlapping of names causing the confusion. So as a TA if you were asked if you had done the fischer family trust training, would you presume this was referring to the fischer family trust literacy wave 3 intervention programme? X

  3. The FFT programme is okay. Quite heavy on resourcing but that is to be expected I guess. We do give LSAs using this programme preparation time to combat this. We only use it in KS1 at the moment. Catch Up Literacy is more effective and we run that in KS2.
