My period shouldn't be due for approximately another 2 weeks but it arrived on Thursday. I had some very light spotting to start with, to the point where I thought I had bled slightly from my bottom (sorry) rather than anything else but it was slightly heavier yesterday then today I realised it was an early period.
I'm not on the pill or any other contraceptive device and my periods are always really regular. Any thoughts? I will see the doctor Monday but am quite concerned.

  4. Definitely see the doctor because you sound concerned and need a professional opinion. However, this is very common and is probably due to a hormonal fluctuation or perhaps a small polyp/fibroid which can easily be diagnosed and dealt with. Try not to worry. x
