Irish teacher in the UAE

Discussion in 'Personal' started by jonaghb, Feb 13, 2011.

  1. Hi all,
Am hoping to head to either abu dhabi or dubai to
teach in September. I have 6 years teaching experience. I am Irish
however and not trained with the English curriculum. I was wondering if
anyone could give me advice on the best schools to apply for and whether
I can apply for the British schools or not! Any advice would be really
    appreciated!
    Thanks

PS I already posted this on teaching overseas but thought I'd put it on here too

It'll never generate the same box office receipts as "An American Werewolf in London"
Apply for all. Then see what you feel. You may find it difficult to work in a school which teaches the British National Curriculum, because a) you don't know it, and b) the school may not offer you a post.
