    Hi does anyone have any recommendations on any good apps for the iPad? We're starting to use Ipads in im school in September and wondered if anyone could give me a heads up to some good apps. It's key stage 2 - both year 3/4 and 5/6. Thank you

    We have 96 iPads in our Junior School. There are lots of lists online of recommended apps, so I'd have a search. A few favourites of mine:

    - Scan (or some other QR Code reader)

    - King of Math

    - Explain Everything

    - iStopMotion

    - Tickle

    You may also want to check out my website, Studyzone.tv which includes lots of maths games and activities, as well as coding videos, which all work on the iPad.

    Have fun,

    Some ideas;

    Beebot (free)

    A.L.E.X (free and paid versions available)

    iMovie (pay) - making movies and adding effects

    Tallegami (free and paid versions) computer generated people use children's voices to discuss topics with pictures related to the topic in the background

    Explain Everything
