Introducing Self and Peer assessment

  1. I've just joined a new school and we are refreshing our AfL approaches. The areas that we feel weaker on are getting the children to self and peer assess. It is a Junior School and we are unsure about how best to structure the introduction of self and peer assessment to each year group and the children.

    How have other schools done this? What processes do you go through to 'train' your children towards using self and peer assessment effectively?
