Introducing RWI and existing reading schemes

Our school are currently in the process of introducing RWI. Up until now, we have been using Bug Club and Phonics Bug to support reading at home. I have been advised not to mix phonic programmes but due to funding we will have a period of transition where the schemes will have to operate alongside one another. Therefore I need to reband our books in line with the RWI progression of sounds. Has anyone else experienced this process or have any advice?
    Thanks Bex
