    Has anyone done this successfully?
Is it worth it or too much stress considering it’s also the resignation deadline?

If you’ve attended an interview on a resignation deadline and were successful, did you insist on your offer in writing imminently in order for you to hand your resignation to your current head?

Any experiences and advice very much welcomed.

Yes been there and done it the member of staff was very good. An offer of a job is the start of the contract and is binding on both parties do make sure you discuss pay and starting arrangements on the day so there is clarity about the offer. The teacher resignation periods do not always coincide with the half terms so you have to interview right up to the mark. Most heads are realistic with resignation dates anyway
    Good luck
