I have a Reception class interview this week and looking for some inspiration.

Oracy lesson focusing on reporting or descriptive language ?

    Any ideas would be great.

    Thank you

How about getting a really interesting painting for them to talk about! They could spot things on it and then shine a torch on the bit they want to talk about. You could expand by giving them descriptive words to describe the things they see. Make it very special by having an easel and covering the painting until you reveal.
