I am working in a school as a long term supply Maths teacher. I have an interview for another school next week and I wonder whether I have to inform of my absence just to the agency (and they deal with it) or directly to the school I am working in. Any help appreciated.

Agency - they employ you. If you feel the need mention it in the school, but not obliged to.

You need to tell your agency so they can arrange to get someone to cover you. I have always told the school too when ever I've needed a day off and its nothing to be concerned about. The school will not be surprised to hear you are looking for something more stable and might even give you a good reference.
