  1. I have an interview, yay!
I have been asked to teach year 4 a lesson of my choice. I have chosen literacy but stuck for ideas at the moment. The lesson will be 45 mins. Anyone have any ideas?

  2. Play to your strengths or recent experiences. Think about a lesson you have taught that went really well, and try to adapt it to the age group/time you have. Don't try to achieve too much, but keep it very focused and make sure you can evidence how the children made progress, rather than just completing the task. I would also think about a starting point for the lesson to engage the pupils - picture, artefact, puppet (Year 4's still love them at that age). Character descriptions lend themselves really well to all of these stimuli.
    Good luck
  3. Will keep that in mind. Thanks for your advice!
