I have been shortlisted for a Reception teacher job and have been invited to visit the school and complete 'some straightforward EYFS tasks' as part of the interview process. What may these tasks be? Thank you!

Who knows! Have you asked them? There's (assumedly) no kids in so can't be a lesson...

Wiping noses? Changing soiled pants? Mopping up paint? Sweeping up sand?

More likely writing up observations, doing assessments, etc.

I imagine it's possibly writing a sample observation. Could be anything really. Let us know when you actually do it!

It might be a written task about EYFS curriculum, for example they give you something to comment on and explain why you choose it...

I recently had an interview for an EYFS role and I was asked to film myself reading a book and then suggest what activities I could do around that book that would link to EYFS.
