Interview Task - Letter to Parents. . .?

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by Lilybett, May 23, 2011.

  1. I've never head of this interview task before. I can see it's interesting and imaginative of them to have us do this, but I have no idea where to even start and would be very grateful for any ideas... xxx

The school will probably give you a reason to write the letter on the day. Something like a parent complaining about HW or similar.

All you can do is gel up on correct etiquette for addressing and other such bits.

  4. minnieminx, you're awesome. i thought it was going to be, 'urr... hello? i promise to always do my best for your child and i really think that'll be easier if you're supportive of me and don't barge into the classroom to shout at me in front of the kids. but please do come and talk to me if you'd like to. xxx' [IMG]

    I
do Application and Interview one-to-ones, and also contribute to the
Job Application Workshops. We look at application letters, executive
summaries and interviews, with practical exercises that people really
    appreciate.

The Job Seminars are all sold out, I'm afraid, but Julia is planning some more later on.

A new SLT seminar is planned for 18 June.

E-mail Julia on advice@tsleducation.com for how to book a meeting with me personally.

    Look forward to seeing you!
