Interview help!

Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by k_greenaway, Apr 13, 2011.

  1. Hi,
    I have an interview lined up for Secondary English at Portsmouth uni. This will be the third PGCE interview I've had and I really want to get onto the course. No feedback whatsoever from previous insitutions.
    The main bit I'm worried about on this one is;
    Microteaching- we have to prepare a mini lesson lasting no longer than ten minutes, and it's "preferred" that it's not in our specialism. Struggling to find ideas for this because besides doing my undergraduate degree at the moment I don't really have a social life and therefore anything which I can "teach." Was toying with the idea of origami.
