Interview Help Reception Teacher

    i hope you can help me. i have an interview coming up on the 2nd July.

    i have to deliver a stand alone literacy lesson to a class of 23 reception children of varying ability, based on a book or object. no powerpoints allowed.

    Hi there. Do you have a favourite story, that's a good place to start.
    What would you like the children to learn? Look at the ELG s to help you for the pitch.

    You can look for something on ******. Lots of books there for Reception class - complete with lesson plans and interesting activities.

    I'm guessing the starred site is Twi nkl.
    Yes, they do have some great plans and a choice of books.
    But for an interview a head will be looking for something more than a twin kl lesson plan and activities.

    What ideas do you already have? If you get this post, you will need to think of lessons every single day for a year.
