Desperately unhappy at my current school , I have just seen a job I would love to apply for . However , I am off school at present as I am recovering from surgery and I know the interviews are scheduled for when I am still off work so my question is : is that alright ? Is it ok to go for interview if you are still signed off ; obviously , I have never experienced this so wonder if anybody knows the answer

The advice from ATL is that you shouldn't, unless you have permission from your Head.

And you would have to talk to your Head about the application anyway

Do I have to tell my Head I am applying elsewhere?

Do come down to the Jobseekers Forum (scroll down the forum list) for more advice on applications, interviews, etc.

    Best wishes
