Hi all, I have a big interview this week at a prestigious independent school. I have previously worked in the state sector.Does anyone have any advice as to what they might focus on in the panel interview - anything that might differ from state sector? Thanks in advance for any tip!

    Extra-curricular experience and potential.

And additional skills that the school might find useful in future. Playing the piano. A second subject.

Sport and extra curricular were the only differences for me when I moved.

If the school has pupils that board, you might want to think about how working there would be different to a day school.

Consider how you would work towards candidates earning top grades.
