Interview advice

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by LostSplendor, May 1, 2012.

  1. Hi Theo (and others),

I have to deliver a literacy lesson as part of an observation during my interview. I want to make sure my planning is perfect, so should my starter it's own learning objective?

I have to teach a 35 minute lesson only - should the plan I hand in only be for that time capacity, or should I show one for an hour? I plan to still do a shortened 3-part lesson.

Thank you, wish me luck please - it is my first one!

We'll certainly wish you 'Good Luck'.
You seem to be pretty organised with your planning already, so well done. Have confidence in your abilities and trust in yourself.
Re the planning. In this case 'more' could be better, to show what you can do even though you don't plan to make use of it all in the interview lesson.
