International Dimension of Mathematics?

Discussion in 'Mathematics' started by Helenatsos, Sep 16, 2011.

  1. Hi guys,
Here at SOS Children (a charity which looks after orphaned and abandoned children around the world) we have jsut received a number of high quality video clips as recorded by children living in our Children's Villages in Africa. The clips are all about things the children themselves find interesting and want to share, and we'd love for UK students to learn about Africa through watching them. We're hoping to use some of the clips as a foudnation for lesson plans for teachers, and need help from qualified teachers to make these as useful as possible.
If you can help by simply giving us a couple of hours to write a lesson plan for Maths based on one or two of the clips I would really appreciate it. KS3 teachers most welcome, but any will do!
