Interesting Numbers - Interview - HELP!

Discussion in 'Art and design' started by Chloealexandra, Jun 14, 2011.

  1. Hello!
I have an Art Interview next week which includes a 50 minute lesson on 'Interesting numbers' (year 9, mixed ability), and I am rather stuck for ideas: can anyone help please?!
Initial thoughts are the golden ratio and looking at artists such as da Vinci and Mondrian. However, I think that the pupils will struggle to understand this as it took me a while (and I have an A* in Maths!)....
I would be so grateful if anyone can respond with ideas!

    Thank you
    Chloe

  2. How about a more literal interpretation? eg Jasper Johns and others.
