up until now I have had no experience with interactive whiteboards-
there is one in every classroom apart from my music room and I have
never had the occasion to use one. I am starting a new job next week and
am embarassed to admit htat I dont know how to use it. what do you
folks use it for with ks1 music? any suggestions to get me going would
be very much appreciated. Thank you

For KS1 or KS2 for that matter Sing Up is wonderful. Children get to sing along to music. You have to register first but it's free.
there's probably some musical notation in the tools Music section too.

I have to agree with this. There are a great selection of songs, warm ups and ideas for musical. accompaniments. My class (2/3) last year loved it and it also helped for performances.
