Hi, I'm currently near the end of my level 3 diploma and have started to apply for ta jobs, and I am visiting one of the schools as suggested for an informal visit. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best questions I can ask? I really want to come across well as I would love to get an interview. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there has only been 1 job to apply for in my area for months - I just phoned and they aren't allowing visits.

Did any of the schools you apply to refuse a visit?

    Possible suggestions:

Do your TAs support children in class, or run intervention programmes outside the class - or is it a mixture?

What is the school's main priority at the moment?

What sort of CPD opportunities are available for TAs?

What are the most common special needs you have in the school?
