Increasing retirement age and health

    Oh *** smartyknickers are you another one posting from Conservative Central office?

    Please explain why our pension is the second lowest in ALL the European Union? Are we second poorest nation in Europe? No. Because the wealth is slowly but surely being transferred into the hands of a few who either do not pay any tax, pay very little tax, or do not think that should pay tax. Misery and penury and early death for British pensioners, vs. flaunted wealth for the cabinet and the Bernie Ecclestones ( to name one).

    Check out the monthly state pension amounts in Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.

    Do you persist in believing that the earth is flat? British pensioners don't have "early death". Life expectancy is increasing. Sources: the ONS, Hutton Report etc , but then I suppose you don't want to consider the evidence if it doesn't fit into your view of the way things are.
