    How on earth were they unaware she was pregnant until she went into labour?

    That in itself is incomprehensible.

    But it would be ambiguous in terms of what you meant regardless of which form I preferred.

    I wondered about that but I suppose that with different teams dealing with her no-one noticed she was missing.

    Dunno. When I was 3mths preg I looked like a hippo. When my friend was sent home the night her planned section was bumped bc of emergencies, she looked like she'd had a big dinner. If you're mainly lying down I can see how it might have been missed or misinterpreted.

    I don't like to see the word outrage overused so much. This horrible case is a suitable case for outrage.
