    My advice is to stick with it if you can. Give it 5 years and Industry will suddenly realise that "we need more skilled workers / engineers" and therefore the government will pump massive ammounts of money into DT (to replace all the assets that have been stripped by short sighted managment) Its happened before and it'll happen again.

    Indeed. I'm still bemused at the idea that what the country absolutely craves is more people with GCSE history or geography and French. That's really going to set the industrial world alight, isn't it?
  3. Well for the interim, I have decided to do a development course in Maths so I can at least get my induction year completed without waiting for the government to change again.
