Just thought i would let you know as I realise you all care anxiously for this old guy LOL
Have you been on holiday?
Good to hear from you again
Did you have a good trip?
Yes thank you. We have had a week in Cumbria,,,,,3 nice days 2 overcast and the rest it piddled down!
I have taken my wife in the car up hight motor roads over passes as she closed her eyes and down many lanes in the Lake Distrct.Had wonderful rides in the Northumbrian and `Yorkshire countryside due to the Sat nav directing us down many country lanes and wandered happliy in every B road i could in the Lake District. I think Mrs Oldy enjoyed it...she didnt scream to often lol
Last night was Liverpool ti se the very first Liverpool Tattos in the LIverpool Echo Areana.Mostly local bands but they played thier hearts out so was delighted, along with supporting bands and groups form other contries.
I must say some of the food up North was Fab...i think i have gained half a stone !
If I'd have known you were coming to Yorkshire I'd have baked a cake!! It only rained one day here but we needed it. On the other days I've been working on my garden etc. Welcome back, we're glad to have you back with us safely.
Welcome back! You haven’t missed a lot. There was an interesting thread about sex toys. Lots of discussion about the Bodyguard, Stricly and whether beards are attractive or not. Some of us made resolutions for the new school year. I try and avoid the Brexit threads so can’t update you on those. I can, however, tell you that it’s 100 sleeps to Santa.
None of the clique notice me missing either.
Who are you?
Did someone speak? Welcome back ..
Thanks for updating us, though I too am wondering where you've been? We all know how you love to 'go travelling'.
I thought it had rained quite a bit lately but when i tried to get the sticks into the ground that hold the hen run together, it was as hard as rock.
I'm glad you had a good time. There's nowhere quite like the Lakes.
Wandering is where i go if allowed lol
Wives do so much get in the way sometimes.Mind you she got anxious when i stood on the edge of a large steep hill in Honiton pass.
Honiton by-pass or Honister Pass?
You went up North? Via Honiton?
You need a new satnav, luv.
Oldsomeman, I am afraid of depths. I can look up at anything.
Dont be silly i want up the other side of the country via the A1,,,if i has gone up the western side i would have tried Shap for something different
Depends what I am looking down on...lol mind you I am not as nimble as I once was.....might be better if I ever lose this 6 stone I need to lose!
Not necessarily. If he went to Honiton, he'd have passed Chard. There's a shop in Chard called Chard Meats which specialises in barbecued food. A Satnav which doesn't know its way can lead you to wonderful surprises, you wouldn't otherwise find out about.
