Ill Health Dimissal help needed

  1. [​IMG]I am likely to be dismissed on the grounds of ill-health capability in early March. I have been with my school for 12 years. Would I be paid up until the end of August? How much notice am I entitled too?
    Please advise

    Call your union at regional. I'd assume that they are involved anyway?
     
  4. Amazing that anyone in this position - for which I sympathise - should ask a public forum. Get in touch with your union - quickly. They know (or should know) the procedures that define what heads/LAs can and cannot do. You can also ask your school for a copy of the procedures they are following: it cannot be refused.
