Ill health and redeployment

    Hi, I am after some advice. I am currently on sick leave due to Ill health and I cannot see my health/situation improving to the point that I can carry on teaching. Our school absence policy includes a section on redeployment and I am looking for any advice from others who have gone down this route. Due to Ill health I know that I would be capable of being employed in a TA or admin type of role but can no longer take on the extra pressures of teaching. Thank you

    Sorry to hear that. Can I suggest you speak to your Union?
