    5 grand for nibbles! Some decent booze, admittedly, but there's barely anything to eat!

    For £5,000 I'd expect one of Santa's little Elves to jump out, unpack the hamper and be at my disposal for the festive period...

  6. My brother works in the Caribbean, fitting out high-end motor yachts for seriously rich people. The fact that it cost £5k would be a specific point in its favour, regardless of contents, for his brigade. If they'd made one with a bit less stuff in it, but for £6k, that would probably have sold faster.
    Different world, some people live in. (Though I am not forgetting that those of us who are struggling to find storage space for all the food we have in the house this week also live in a different world from a lot of the world's population!!)

    That reminds me of my Saudi students, if it costs more, it has to be better. Who else would you find drinkingJohnny Walker Black label with coke!!!!
