IDENTIFY THE POP/ROCK LYRIC

Discussion in 'Entertainment' started by albertdog, Feb 28, 2012.

  1. The idea is simple. All you have to do is to identify the snatch of lyric, for example:
Q; 'Snot running down his nose'.
A: Jethro Tull, Aqualung, Title track, 1971
If you think you know the answer, add it in, and then it is your turn to pose a lyric for others to identify.
With your indulgence, I will start off.
"There'll be no mutant enemy we will certify."

  4. I had forgotten about the Internet, which rather spoils the idea of the game. It shows you how old and 'out of touch' am I.
Here is another one, any way.
'Help me in my search for knowledge,
I must learn the Secret Art.
Who dares to help me raise the on
Whose very name near stills my heart?'

  5. "I want it said when I am gone, I moved the world just one step on."

I feel rather embrassed that I did not get the Allman Brothers, as they are more my time.

  6. Is not yours the Rocky Horror Show, Sparkle?

  8. I wonder how many times I've made a complete exhibition of myself doing the Time Warp - and I still can't resist it! .................................................. "Tears stream down your face when you lose something you cannot replace."
