Any good ideas for art on open evenings ??
From a parent's standpoint:
A good display of student work, so you can see the quality of GCSE work, and also the progression and variety of skills - if you have sketchbooks, a few from each year group, opened to the different skills you cover.
By all means have something for kids to do while parents are looking, but make it something very brief - it's really frustrating being unable to get to the subjects where you have questions to ask because there are so many things for your child to try in each department. There will be some parents/children who are really keen on art and want to know everything, but most will have other priorities.
