Ideas for a word wall??

Discussion in 'Primary' started by lucywag, Oct 27, 2011.

  1. We have sentences of the week which I type up from last week's work and display. The children love reading through them to see if any of their work has 'appeared!'

  2. Ooo fab idea! Thank you! And also thank you for the quick reply :)

  3. You could have a writer of the week. You choose the best bit of writing from the class that week- highlight the good parts and stick it up.

  4. I have some posters of mnemonics and pictures for tricky words which could be displayed a few at a time each week. Children could add to these with their own ways of remembering some tricky words.
