ICT Week

Discussion in 'Primary' started by acceb, Jun 1, 2011.

  1. Hi all, in a few weeks we are having an ICT week. I have a few ideas such as using our learning platform and website. The older children recording stories for the younger pupils. Making a video about our school for a competition.
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas that have been tried and tested.
    Thanks in advance
    Acceb :)
  2. During Roald Dahl week my yr 3/4 made animation adverts to promote a sweet they had made, we used 2animate. I have also, in the past, made plasticine animations using digi-blu, but this could also be done with 2animate.
  3. Some great suggestions. Thank you.
    Any more??? :)

Why not get at least some of the classes to storyboard, script and film their own short films, documentaries, adverts etc?
  5. Hi Acceb,
Zu3D is a really easy to use stop motion software package as it allows you to easily animate, record sound and create titles and credits all in one program. It's compatible with any webcam including Digiblues.
There are some great ideas for using animation in the curriculum at http://www.zu3d.com/learning-tools
