ICT KS3 Focus Groups

    We've done this using survey monkey, asking everyone in the school for their opinions once a year. You have to filter out the wheat from the chaff, most students said I could improve the modules by "having more games" or "setting less homework". Hmm.
    Provided you pick some reliable students I think it's a great idea.
     
  2. We use it as an ICT homework at the end of the spring term (so around now). Pupils fill out which units they enjoyed, ratings, what they think of ICT as a subject and for their future, how it could be improved etc (as gavcradd also does). All anonymous, and we get really good responses year-on-year, not overwhelmingly positive as expected but definitely a great marker on where the engaging bits are, and also some surprises!
