ICT and Africa's children

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by Helenatsos, Sep 16, 2011.

  1. Hi ICT teachers,
Can you see the link between your subject and the rest of the world? Here at SOS Children (a charity looking after orphaned and abandoned children around the world) we have jsut received a number of high quality video clips produced by children in our care in a number of African countries. The clips are all about things the children themselves want to show and share with the rest of the world. We are now hoping to use some of them as a foundation for a number of lesson plans for teachers, and need help from qualified teachers to make that happen.
If you can help us by giving us two hours or so to write a lesson plan for ICT using one or two of our clips we would really like to hear from you. Please get in touch on helen@soschildren.org and see www.soschildren.org for more info about our work.
