I think we have just had THE phone call

  1. I wouldn't worry too much about failing. Quite a few schools fail their first monitoring visit, particularly if there has been resistance to SM. If, after the 2nd monitoring visit there is no progress or slow progress, the secretary of state (Gove) will write to the LA and ask why they are considering keeping the school open. At that point, the LA might decide to close the school
  2. We have been in SM for a while. First visit, satisfactory, the unsatisfactory. So I suppose this one is important. So this Tuesday and Wednesday could be a bit crucial.
