I fancy buying a tea pot!
How about hand crocheting a tea cost as well x
I've told Mrs MSB that if I ever show interest in buying a trouser press she must shoot me.
I bought one last year. I didn't realise it made me old. *glum*
You mean you're only considering buying one NOW??
Are you mad? A teapot is part of life itself. Age has nothing to do with it.
tis only now i have the room in a kitchen to keep one!
Nah, get a convertible!
I have found the very one for you
It's not wanting to buy a teapot that is the sign of middle age, but having a kitchen large enough to put one in.
If you're buying a teapot you need tea leaves and a tea strainer as well. A much better cup of tea.
I have loads of teapots, I must be very old!
I have a big one!
*picks himself off the floor, tears of laughter still creeping down his cheeks, sides aching from the ridiclous prospect of the OP considering themself to be "old or hitting middle age"*
*tries to type*
*wanders off trying not to laugh too loudly*
*tries to remember (sex dependent) whether to commiserate or congratulate Laff*
Yes, me too.
In lots of different sizes.
For all occasions, you know.
Not like laffalot, who only has a big one!
And elfie, who doesn't have one at all!
Better equipped than many a man, I am. Big spouts, little spouts, I can serve them all...
Sorry I thought the thread was about teapots.
When elfie starts a thread, it generally has a deeper, more surreal meaning...
or we think of one for him
Sounds quite quaint to me.
Have you got a butter dish? My friends thought that was hilarious and started calling me Grandad when they saw that. Yet they complain that they can't buy butter because it's too hard in the fridge. (Room for innuendo there???)
