mind you, funny as it was, i'm glad i never went to see avenue q now - i would have found that puppeteering irritating
when cable tv first came in, it's amazing how many subscibers objected to foreign -language channels filing up the empty slots (no honestly - you don't have to watch them - you can just igenore them) not realizing that if they watched the german channels in the small hours of the morning, they would be seeing something that later on would be strictly subscription only
Avenue Q is fab! You don't even notice the puppeteers.

The strangest film I have seen is The Duke of Burgundy. Berberian Sound Studio may be stranger but I couldn't stick it to the end.
