I love public sculpture.

    All of it; any of it. My sense of critical judgement deserts me completely when I am faced with a sculpture out there in the streets or the squares or the parks. Whatever it is, I love it to bits (I still look back with huge affection to Anthony Gormley's bonkers real people sculptures in Trafalgar Square back whenever.) Public sculpture is, by its very nature, A Good Thing in my opinion.

    So I'm delighted that a whole bunch of recentish ones have been given listed status. I like them all but I think that this is my favourite:
