It was horrible-but I'd already seen the Swedish version.
These Nordic dramas don't make for comfortable viewing, but I'm totally addicted to them-sometimes gruesome content notwithstanding!

I did watch it and there was a warning before it started that some scenes may upset viewers. I just tried to remember that it was not real and the birds were not really hurt. Once past this opening scene there was nothing different from any other crime drama in terms of gore.
The rest of the programme was excellent.

  3. I agree- it was very good, but I am always upset by the sight of stuntmen on fire , risking their lives for a mere TV programme. I can't help empathising with Branagh's character, even repeating his words to see if I could say them differently but just as effectively. It's the actor manque in me.

  4. It was advertised as " feature length".

  5. It didn't make him very lively.
