I am starting my BA hon in childhood studies and I was thinking of doing Attachment in Early Years, new technologies in early years or cognitive development in 4- 6 years for the dissertation but not sure what other topic I could pick out of them as I'm interested in a few.

Hi there. Was there a question in there?
Pick the one that you think you gave most interest in. If it were me I'd look at attachment and read around Peter Elfer, john Bowlby, Elinor Goldschmid, maybe looking at the key person approach and perceptions of what this means.
But that' just me, it' really important you have enough passion for your study that will sustain you when the going gets tough.
