How will we calculate year 6 English levels?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by andyknox1, Jan 15, 2012.

  1. I must just be me who has missed this but if we teacher assess writing based on lots of samples of writing, how will we calculate the combined English level?

    Thanks

  2. I read that this year we are reporting separate reading and writing levels as they do in KS1 to bring it more in line. This will definitely help and also helps with the "predictions" they got FFT.

I would love to tell you where I read this but I have no clue. It was probably in the NARA as I was looking through about access arrangements. Hope it helps!

  3. Sorry and the information from the DCSF that is published will be separate levels also (-:

  4. Oh stupid acronyms, I mean the ARA!!!
