"How do I post a picture in my reply?" is a FAQ on here.
[BTW: hijacking other threads is poor form, particularly if done by people whose threads are often removed.]
This is my understanding of the process/requirements. [Please correct me if I am wrong!]
    1) You have to be using Internet Explorer. Firefox doesn't work. Chrome is a nightmare with this site in general - don't bother.
    2) The picture you want must be available somewhere on the internet. If you want to post a picture of your own then you need to upload it somewhere first (such as to photobucket).
    3) Find the picture on the internet. Right-click on the picture and select "copy".
    4) In your message use ctrl+v to paste the picture.
    5) Use "Preview" (above the subject line of the message) to check the image isn't too big to display fully.
    Happy picture posting!

Our friend uses Firefox so this may present a problem.

And I never noticed Preview hiding there so that was a useful tip.

oooooooooo I just went mad and experimented with Safari

Too much of an effort to do this regularly though

  6. Oh pants. After all that effort I have finally uploaded my Princess Diana teatowel (onto Facebook - and it has published it on my page and I don't know how to delete it![IMG])
And after all that I can't post it onto the teatowels thread because it's on Opinion and I'm moderated and they've bogged off home for the weekend!
    While the cat's away....
Majbecka, Diff Maff, Autis-M-Furter and Curlumbia can play?

So instructions worked for IE, Firefox, not Chrome.
Chrome is my first choice for stuff that works - nice & fast!

  12. did you plan it? Janet?

  14. What?

ps ... sorry for repeating my own post rather than replying

  15. randomly repeating a post is entirely appropriate for this thread RF.
No wonder you're confused though. hump3 bagged criminologist (the guy with the diagram of the feet) this afternoon on a thread which disappeared. It's all very confusing.

Thanks to strawbs, RF and Casey for their input.
Now - isn't this nice: a thread where we are all working together in a positive way. Makes me feel all warm inside!

Firefox - I just right clicked, copied, then pasted - exactly the same as IE.
I know I have had a few Firefox updates recently...
    maybe that has helped.
Only Chrome is rubbish - for this particular task.
If I just want to read stuff - Chrome wins - super speedy!

Nazard - love the thought about the warm fuzzy feelings! Collaboration is good.
Seriously though - have connected with a lot of teachers online recently and it's brilliant.
I have learned much from educators around the world.
