Discussion in 'Overseas trained teachers' started by beatahorvath, Nov 26, 2011.

  1. Hi I got my QTS, but everywhere I am applying they need experience teaching in Uk.I got an opportunity to become an after school club supervisor. My question is would that be enough experience later to become a teacher assistant or a piano teacher what is my profession? Thank you very much for the help. Beata (hungarian piano teacher with Chamber music Master Degree)

Most piano teachers operate privately rather than in a school. They have students after school hours. Some work as teachers visiting different schools in an area where they then have individual students in each school.
