How to get back into teaching

    Hello folks,

Was hoping for some advice about getting back into teaching. My subject is Mandarin Chinese, I'm secondary trained but I taught it at primary level at a prestigious private school but that gave me a very narrow focus and made me extremely niche. In 2015 I decided to try my hand at some other things and took a break from full time teaching and I've been out of the classroom since then.

If I were to consider moving into KS1/ KS2 teaching what sort of path would you consider to be appropriate? I realise now that after a few years away from the classroom I'm also quite out of touch with the curriculum and recent developments in education in the UK but would very much like to get back into teaching.
